Welcome to My Little Corner of Magic 💙
Hi, I’m Sonja, the heart behind the Pixie Nook.
The Pixie Nook began from a simple love of beautiful things, meaningful experiences, and the belief that sometimes we all need a little more magic in our lives.
What started as a dream of creating a small metaphysical boutique has grown into something much more personal. Pixie Nook is not just a shop to me. It is a space where people can slow down, explore, connect, and hopefully leave feeling just a little lighter than when they walked through the door.
More Than a Boutique
I have always been drawn to crystals, their beauty, their stories, and the different meanings people have connected with them throughout history. I love helping someone find a stone that simply speaks to them — whether they are drawn to its color, its energy, its symbolism, or maybe they just think it is absolutely gorgeous. Sometimes, there doesn't have to be a reason.
Over time, my own journey led me deeper into energy work and the practices I now share at the Pixie Nook, including Reiki, Aura & Chakra Readings, and Sacred Sunday Sound Baths.
These offerings are all about creating a little space to pause.
Life can be busy, overwhelming, and sometimes just plain hard. I believe everyone deserves a place where they can put the outside world aside for a little while, breathe, and simply be.
A Space to Feel Comfortable
One of the things that matters most to me is that Pixie Nook feels welcoming.
You don't have to know anything about crystals. You don't have to consider yourself spiritual. You don't have to have a particular belief system. And you certainly don't have to know exactly what you're looking for when you walk through the door.
Come curious. Come browse. Ask questions. Pick up the pretty crystal that caught your eye. Sit for a while. Explore.
There is no judgment and no pressure.
I want the Pixie Nook to feel like the kind of place where you can walk in as a stranger and leave feeling like you've found a little corner that feels like home.
The Cranny
And then there is The Cranny — my own little creative corner of the Pixie Nook.
The Cranny is where you'll find some of the more hands-on and magical experiences, including the Spell Jar Bar and other things that allow you to create something of your own.
I love the idea of giving people the opportunity to get involved rather than simply purchasing something already made. There is something special about choosing your own ingredients, setting an intention, and creating something that is uniquely yours
Why the Pixie Nook?
At the end of the day, the Pixie Nook is about connection.
Connection with ourselves.
Connection with others.
Connection with the things that inspire us.
And sometimes simply reconnecting with a little bit of wonder.
